THE
GALLET FAMILY OF COMPANIES
Gallet &
Associates, Inc. was incorporated in Birmingham, Alabama, by Alain
J. Gallet, P.E., and Sandra L. Gallet in May 1989. Mary S.
Moran, C.P.G., P.G., joined the firm as a partner in June 1989.
Steady growth led to the establishment of several companies,
comprising a number of operations centers and more than 135 qualified
staff. This
group of companies includes affiliated operations in Marietta, Georgia
(Gallet & Associates of Georgia, Inc., incorporated in 1995)
and Pensacola and Niceville, Florida (Gallet & Associates Gulf
Coast, Inc., incorporated in 1998), as well as branch offices of
the Birmingham operation in Oxford, AL (opened in 1998), Vinemont,
AL (opened in 03), and Tuscaloosa, AL (opened in 04). On June
1, 2006 GeoScience Engineers with offices in Jackson, MS and Memphis,
TN joined the GAI family. Gallet & Associates, Inc. is a certified
WBE firm by ALDOT, FAA and other agencies.
Although the
collective companies' growth has been significant, Gallet &
Associates has managed to keep a family atmosphere as well as a
corporate culture fostering the professional growth and civic involvement
of its staff. The basis of our corporate philosophy is a
solid commitment to providing professional services tailored to
the needs of our commercial, financial, institutional, industrial,
and federal, state and local governmental clients. Our clients have
come to rely on our ability to provide them with geotechnical, environmental
consulting, construction materials testing and construction financial
services to help make their plans come to life. This reliance
has resulted in the national recognition of our quality services.
