The Excellence in Construction Awards, presented by the Alabama Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc., awarded Gallet & Associates/A Terracon Company a Merit Award for the Powertrain Flexible Maintenance Facility Project in Anniston, Alabama.The development of the Powertrain Flexible Maintenance Facility site faced several engineering and construction obstacles, such as site drainage issues, Karst geology including on-site sinkhole activity, possible differential settlement concerns and sequencing the construction to allow for the timely opening of the facility. Innovative engineering and construction methods were used to maintain an acceptable budget and project completion date. 

Gallet was honored to have been a member of the design and construction team for the Powertrain Flexible Maintenance Facility project.
